Excursion to the zoo,

The student association in TAFE decided to do a free excursion on Thursday for all the AMEP classes to the zoo. We agreed to meet at the TAFE at 9:00 am.
I’ve never been to the zoo before; I only watched animals on TV. So, I couldn't sleep well the whole night from the enthusiasm which I was felt about seeing the animals and going to the zoo.
I woke up early and I equipped my bags and all the stuff I’d need like my food and my camera. Then I went to TAFE and met my class mates there. When all the students arrived, we went up into the bus. The journey began...
We were all so excited, when we arrived each one of us accelerated down from the bus. We were all rushing and each one of us wanted to get out before the other. Finally we got there. We started to take pictures everywhere.
There was wonderful wildlife everywhere. We were given a map by our teacher to guide us around the zoo. First we went to see the peacocks as our teacher talked to us about each animal we visited. There were lots of beautiful animals like monkeys, ponies, and different kinds of birds, llamas, kangaroos, the lazy koalas and many more...
Half way there, a representative from the zoo talked to us about the history and lifestyles of koalas and snakes. They let us each touch a snake skin. This was a very exciting experience which I will be telling everyone I know.
After that we had lunch and then continued touring the zoo. I went to see the parrots there were many kinds and all of them kept saying “hello!” each time we walked past them.
Then I went to see the kangaroos where I played with them and fed them. There was another show about tigers where they put food inside a plastic cage and the tiger broke the cage to get the food and ate it. This show was very funny and shows how smart the tigers are.
We took photos everywhere with everyone, and enjoyed this beautiful day out in the zoo.
On the way back home I kept thinking about the excursion and about how much fun I had. I sat o the bus and closed my eyes, and started to remember all the fun memories.
This was a generous idea from the student association and I’m very thankful that they allowed us to go on this excursion.

Health and Life Style Expo was held by student association. The TAFE active program has been designed by TAFE NSW Student Association in direct response to the decline in physical activity amongst the Australian populatio.
It was yesterday June 4th between 10:30 and 1:30.
In total, there were 25 exhibitions gave us lots of information and advice and there were also practical demonstrations. The some organisations were: natural way massage health centre, Asthma Australia, Cancer Council of NSW……
The student association arranged sample bags and they gave us which included T-shirt and health information flyers.
We were involved with the organisation of the TAFE active Health Expo and with another AMEP classes, we cooked healthy food for this day and donations were made for the food. The money raised from the donations went to “Aussie Helpers”.
All students and staff were given an evaluation form to complete. We had to see at least six of the agencies and get a stamp on our evaluation form. Then we had to fill in the evaluation form and put it in the entry box.
I was so excited in this event and I send big thanks for all the persons concerned who let us to participate in "Healthand Lifestyle Expo".

How I spent my time in the museum
First, we decided to meet at Kogarah station, I thought I was late, so I went to the central station to meet there, but I didn’t know where the right place there, I was very worried, i called my friend Daniella, which told me they was on the way and after that I saw them and I felt relieved.
Second, we arrived to the museum, it was a huge building, we all got together in the  Atrium area, we paid the admission and we left our bags in the locker room.
Then, the teacher divided us into groups and she gave us  activity sheets to answer the questions, we were very enthusiast to see this big exhibition, and all important things there.
This huge exhibition has many floors, and every floor has different things, we saw the skeletons of the famous animals in Australia like kangro,Ostrich …  , the mammoth and also the skeleton ridding the bike, and on the next floor we saw many variety of minerals and the precious and semi -precious stones were beautiful and shiny like diamond, pearl and coral….. And over there we saw an interesting Egyptian mummy, and after we went to see the birds the insects exhibition, they are so wonderful, and finally we went to see the section of the extinct dinosaurs called surviving Australia, it was very interesting.
We took a lot  of photos  everywhere in the exhibition, and we made nice work together, we all got very hungry and tired so we decided to leave the place and to go to have a picnic lunch, I ate my foods heartily.
Finally the teacher collected the activity sheets and we packed our stuffs and we come back together  home.
I was very excited, it was a  spectacular trip to the museum,  I learned many valuables owned by Australian country.

How i met my husband

My husband was friend with my brothers and younger sister in school for 10 years, but me and him we weren’t friends; I didn’t talk with him yet.
I didn’t like my husband because he was very shy, even though he always used to look at me.
Later his family decided to immigrate to Australia.
Three years after his departure, my younger sister gave me his email address; he always spoke to me online, but I didn’t care about him, but he didn’t give up for that.
After long patience I spoke with him, he was very exciting to love each other.
Since then we talked everyday by internet and by phone, when the phone rang, my heart danced with it.
He was very polite and gentle with me, which attached me to him more and more.
After five years later, he came back.
I was very excited to meet him again, his looks changed  a little bit, but he was somehow still the same person I knew when I was younger.
The first time we met, I couldn’t control my feelings towards him.
I quickly hugged him and kissed him…..
Later we went out many times, and then set a date to get married.
After getting married, my husband came back to Sydney and I came with him.

It was very hard to leave my homeland and my family, but I did because I want to be with my husband who means the world to me.

At the weekend

It was Sunday, I went with my husband to the Town Hall where is the largest tower in the City to see what happens there up on the top and enjoy  a new experience .
The weather was beautiful, and everything was fine.We bought the tickets  and then we went by train for half an hour until we arrived there.
At first we got the tickets to watch a little film in 3D about  Australian civilization and  the  natural resources. We sat on spinning chairs and then someone told us what we had to do and made us laugh. We were very exited .
After that, we went up to the top of the tower, the building was a circular shape inside, and every where you could find a telescope to see everything out on the top .
I saw all the buildings, the shops, the people and everything was very small.
We were happy and after that we came back home. I all the night I was telling  my family how I was excited because of that experience .
